REVIEW :

The way Prasanth varma starts his party, the initial video game making & its development scenes were fabulous to watch and has also given us great hope for the upcoming portions. Prasanth hardly took time to establish his characters as he has done it in a very different way, it was short and sweet. The way he moves into the story , by bringing on the main characters to clear their hurdles was something we rarely see in telugu cinema. Completely a no-nonsense kind of moving forward formula it was and it has worked out really well. The unpredictable twists with comical insertions coming in the first has lifted up our movie watching experience and makes us feel that we are sitting in front of the “MASTERPIECE” in the halfway. Even the technical aspects has also been upto satisfactory levels, Cinematography was top-notch throughout the first half and lends hand to Prasanth’s exceptional writing.

DIRECTOR PRASANTH VARMA WHO MISSED OUT THE NATIVITY IN HIS FIRST FILM , AND MISSED OUT INTENSITY AND IN HIS SECOND. BUT IN HIS THIRD OUTING (ZOMBIE REDDY) HE TIGHTENED BOTH HIS PREVIOUS ERRORS AND DELIVERS A COMPLETE ALL-ROUND EXPERIMENTAL PRODUCT.

Unlike first half , second half starts off pointing on the other phase of the story which, but later turned out to be the primary phase of the movie. Yes , moving the story from ZOM-COM (Zombie – Comedy) to factionism was bit disappointing but still Prasanth has not dropped any errors in that phase as well. Took to film in the same phase and ambience which he promised before even when the genre changes. We rarely see this quality film making in Indian cinema. Though the Zombie intensity goes low later , the enthu and unpredictabilty never went low. The comical punches worked out well throughout , no puzzles left unsolved and the makers have not given any room to logical errors as well .

CAST PERFORMANCES :

SAJJA TEJA nails as a lead in this Zombie reddy , good in emoting out and dialogue delivery as well. His stunts has also been top-notch , bright future ahead for this star in Telugu Cinema. Harsha Vardha and Anandhi travelled throughout and have also done justice to the script. Daksha failed to match up the levels of other artists, such a POOR performance from her, could have been better. All the other artists and side artists have done their work flawlessly .

OVERALL VERDICT :

This Zombie reddy from Prasanth Varma is a mixture of positives of his previous two films (i.e positives of AWE + positives of KALKI). Yes , its done and dusted. Here and there In the second half the screenplay could have been better. Even though these Zombies are not terrifying , they will make us to stay In the edge of our seats without fail.
